Time is running - for us it seems, we already startet and now, 2 weeks of our journey through Namibia are over. The second week was as amazing, as the first one was. After the desert and some other lovely parts of Namibia, we visited Swapkopmund. A nice little town - quite, not much traffic and unique. Unfortunatly, the weather wasen't on our side. It was cloudy, misty and also a bit cold. No wonder, the winter is coming in. Swapkopmund is it worth to visit it - almost a MUST while visitung Namibia. We had a good time, found some nice restaurants and loved it to stroll through the town. Next stop was Twyfelfontain. Known and famous because of its engravements, the organ pipes and the burned mountains. We had a wonderful, unique lodge - just amazing (Mowani Mountain Lodge). At one day we had a morning drive to the desert elephants. It was ravishing - we saw the whole herd (over 20 elephants). It was an incredible experience, especiallly for my wife. Our journey continued to the Etosha National Parc. This parc has a size of about 22'000 Km2 (half the size of Switzerland) and an amazing big pan. This pan is also been seen from space. The pan is over 130 Km long and more than 50 km wide and it is a great white ground. There are a lot of animals inside the parc - just as example, beetween 2'000 - 5'000 elephants. We stayed two days within the parc and after that, outside the parc, just very close to it.
We enjoyed every day, even the drives, sometimes a bit longer, sometimes shorter, were just fun. No traffic, just driving. Yes, Namiba is incredible, it has a unique landscape, a wonderful bunch of people and a lot of wild animals. One time in your life, you should visite Namibia.

Bye the way, you might ask yourself, why are there no pictures about rhinos. Rhinos are one of the most threatened animals in Africa. To respect the great work a lot of anti poarchers do every day, I never would post any pictures of this incredible animals. Yes, we saw a lot of rhinos, white and black ones, sometimes very close, sometimes from a distance - but I never would write where. Just remember, since they are anti poarchers, more than 1'000 of them died through bullets or force of poarchers.
